AWS Expands Amazon Connect into Four AI Solutions for Business Operations

May 05, 2026
Amazon Web Services has expanded its Amazon Connect platform into a suite of four AI solutions designed for supply chains, hiring, customer engagement, and healthcare operations.

Amazon Web Services announced in a press release that its Amazon Connect platform is expanding into a suite of four agentic AI solutions built to integrate into existing business workflows. The new lineup includes Amazon Connect Decisions, Talent, Customer, and Health, each designed for specific business functions such as supply chain optimization, recruitment, customer engagement, and healthcare administration.

Amazon Connect Decisions focuses on supply chain operations, combining forecasting models with AI agents that adapt to company goals and processes. The system uses foundation models such as Chronos2 and Amazon's Supply Chain Optimization Technologies to generate demand forecasts and resolve disruptions faster than traditional methods.

Amazon Connect Talent streamlines hiring by using AI agents to create interview plans, conduct voice interviews, and analyze candidate responses. The platform anonymizes candidate data to support objective, skills-based hiring decisions. Recruiters receive summarized reports with competency scores and transcripts for review.

Amazon Connect Customer, formerly known as Amazon Connect, continues to power customer interaction systems for companies like State Farm and Air Canada. It now allows organizations to configure conversational AI experiences more quickly without requiring technical expertise. Amazon Connect Health automates administrative tasks in healthcare, such as scheduling and documentation, to reduce workload for providers.

The expanded suite reflects AWS's approach to embedding AI agents as collaborative teammates that adapt to business context and improve over time.
