Avicenna.AI Gains CE Mark for Spine Imaging AI Tools

Avicenna.AI has received CE Mark certification for its CINA-VCF Quantix and CINA-CSpine AI tools, enabling their use across Europe for detecting spine fractures.

Avicenna.AI has secured CE Mark certification for two of its spine-focused medical imaging AI tools, announced in a press release. The certifications cover CINA-VCF Quantix, an AI algorithm designed to detect vertebral compression fractures (VCFs), and CINA-CSpine, a tool for identifying cervical spine fractures.

The CE Mark allows these tools to be used across the European Economic Area, meeting the EU's health and safety standards. CINA-VCF Quantix targets patients aged 50 and older undergoing CT scans for other conditions, automatically identifying and assessing VCFs by calculating vertebral height loss ratios. CINA-CSpine aids in the detection and triage of cervical spine fractures, alerting radiologists for quicker diagnosis and intervention.

These tools integrate seamlessly into existing radiological workflows, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. Avicenna.AI's product portfolio also includes AI solutions for other critical conditions such as intracranial hemorrhage and pulmonary embolism.
