Applied Intuition has been chosen by the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office to develop the enterprise platform for the Department of War’s Autonomy Factory program, aimed at accelerating the testing and deployment of autonomous systems.

The Applied Intuition has been selected by the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) to build the enterprise platform supporting the Department of War’s new Autonomy Factory program, announced in a press release.

The Autonomy Factory initiative is designed to streamline the integration, testing, and deployment of autonomous systems across all military branches. Built on Applied Intuition’s Axion toolchain and data engine, the platform will provide a shared environment for program offices, developers, and operators to develop, validate, and certify autonomous systems.

According to the announcement, the system will enable users to create digital test environments on demand and collect data from fielded systems for training purposes. The platform aims to reduce manual processes such as scenario authoring and compliance documentation by consolidating tools and data into a single enterprise infrastructure.

The CDAO developed the Autonomy Factory with congressional backing to address fragmentation in existing autonomy development efforts and to accelerate the delivery of autonomous capabilities to operational units.
