Anthropic Generated 34.5% of SpaceX Quarterly Revenue
Anthropic generated 34.5% of SpaceX's third quarter revenue under the companies' computing agreement, according to The Next Web, citing Bloomberg. A SpaceX filing identified the client only as "Customer B," and the revenue contribution made Anthropic a larger customer than the US government.
Anthropic rents computing capacity at SpaceX data centers in Memphis, Tennessee. Its contracts allow spending of up to $120.5 billion through 2029, including payments of about $3.1 billion per month from December.
Anthropic can cancel the contracts with 90 days' notice after early 2027. SpaceX's AI unit, now called Super Intelligence, recorded its first quarterly profit last quarter, while SpaceX revenue increased 161%.
