Adyen has launched Personalize, a new AI-based product within its Adyen Uplift suite, announced in a press release. The tool customizes checkout pages in real time based on individual shopper preferences to help merchants increase conversion rates and reduce processing costs.

Personalize builds on the capabilities of Adyen Uplift, introduced in January 2025, which helps businesses optimize payment routing and reduce unnecessary declines. According to the company, more than 6,500 businesses using Adyen Uplift saw an average 1.19% increase in payment conversion rates compared to industry benchmarks, with some reaching up to 6%.

In its first year, Adyen Uplift also reduced payment costs by 9.4% across eligible traffic and lowered false positives—legitimate transactions incorrectly blocked—by 42% on average. The new Personalize feature extends these improvements by focusing on the initial customer journey, guiding shoppers toward optimal payment methods to maximize savings and conversion outcomes.
