Action Energy said in a press release that its joint venture with Kellton is preparing to open its first regional office in Doha in the third quarter of 2026. The venture is focused on artificial intelligence solutions for well control digitalization and real time monitoring for energy operators in the Gulf Cooperation Council.

The company said the joint venture marks its first step in a wider GCC expansion plan. The AI tools are intended for use in upstream energy operations, including monitoring and digital workflows for well control.

Action Energy also reported a contracted backlog of about US$1.1 billion, mainly with Kuwait Oil Company. About 39% of that backlog is made up of integrated oilfield services, which the company expects to contribute during the second half of 2026 and early 2027.
