The US Defense Logistics Agency has entered a $48 million contract with Google Cloud to upgrade its cloud services, aiming to improve supply chain operations for the US military and federal partners. Meanwhile, Scout AI Inc. has partnered with Hendrick Motorsports Technical Solutions to develop NOMAD, an unmanned ground vehicle using Scout's Fury autonomy system. This collaboration aims to enhance military capabilities with a lightweight and efficient design.

MSBAI has secured a $1.2 million contract from the U.S. Department of Defense to enhance its OrbitGuard system for space domain awareness. The project will develop a hybrid-intelligence copilot to process data from over 20,000 space objects. In a strategic move, Nukkleus Inc. plans to acquire Tiltan Software Engineering Ltd. for $14 million, aiming to strengthen its position in the defense AI market.

In other news, ICEYE and SATIM have launched the 'Detect & Classify' product, utilizing AI to identify and categorize vessels, vehicles, and aircraft in SAR imagery with high accuracy. This tool aims to improve defense and security situational awareness by providing quick insights and reducing manual analysis. Additionally, Ukraine has deployed AI-controlled drone swarms against Russian forces, marking a significant use of swarm technology in combat, developed by the Ukrainian startup Swarmer.

Swedish startup WRLDS Technologies has introduced the 6th SENSE, an AI-driven wearable system aimed at real-time health monitoring for military and emergency personnel. The system is currently undergoing testing by armed forces and law enforcement in various countries. Furthermore, Knox Systems has appointed Shira Rubinoff as a Strategic Advisor to enhance secure cloud and AI adoption for federal agencies and the Department of Defense.

In the defense drone market, South Korean startup PABLO AIR has merged with VOLK to enhance its competitiveness, integrating advanced AI swarm technology with defense manufacturing expertise. The Pentagon is also funding NUVIEW with $5 million to advance space-based LiDAR technology for detailed Earth mapping from orbit.

The UK Defence and Security Accelerator has teamed up with Marine AI to trial a natural language system for autonomous vessels, aiming to improve interaction with crewed ships. Trials will take place in Plymouth and Portsmouth. Meanwhile, the UK/Ukrainian startup Offset Labs has secured €600,000 in funding to establish an AI lab focused on defence and national security in Europe.

Lastly, the US Army has awarded a $98.9 million contract to TurbineOne for its Frontline Perception System, designed to automate target identification and tracking on the battlefield. Additionally, the Army has awarded a $200 million contract to startup Rivet to develop AI-enabled glasses for soldiers, enhancing battlefield intelligence and interaction with AI tools.
