YouTube Adds Custom Feeds and Shopping Tools
YouTube announced on its website Custom Feeds and new shopping capabilities for Ask YouTube at its Made on YouTube event.
Custom Feeds will let viewers create and save homepage tabs for specific interests, moods, or routines. The feature will soon be available in the United States across the web, mobile devices, and TVs.
Ask YouTube will support shopping questions and follow up queries while viewers watch videos, including through voice commands on TVs. Product review searches may also show organized video recommendations and comparison tables based on product attributes and user preferences. Viewers can continue asking questions from a selected video's watch page.
