YOFC showcased its latest AI-driven optical fibre technologies at MWC Barcelona 2025, focusing on 5G connectivity and smart computing solutions.

Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC) showcased its latest AI-driven optical fibre technologies at MWC Barcelona 2025, announced in a press release. The company highlighted innovations across five core areas: 5G Advanced Connectivity, AI Intelligent Computing Center, Internet of Energy, Intelligent Traffic, and Enjoy Digital Life.

YOFC introduced the G.654.E optical fibre, known for its ultra-high-speed and long-distance transmission capabilities, as well as the EasyBand® Plus-Mini 173μm Fibre and MaxBand® OM4 Pro Fibre. These products are designed to enhance data center efficiency and support the transition to higher-speed networks, such as 400G and 800G.

In the AI data center domain, YOFC presented its Smart Computing Solution, which integrates advanced optical fibres and eco-friendly cabling to boost computational power while promoting sustainability. The company also showcased its marine communication solutions, featuring submarine fibre optic cables and high-power transmission cables for clean energy applications.

YOFC's participation at MWC Barcelona underscores its commitment to advancing optical communication technology and supporting the integration of AI across industries.
