Xense Robotics showcased its full tactile intelligence technology system at ICRA 2026 in Vienna, including the debut of the TacCap-Gripper data acquisition device and demonstrations of tactile-driven robotic manipulation.

Xense Robotics showcased its tactile intelligence technology at ICRA 2026 in Vienna from June 2 to 4, announced in a press release. The company presented a full tactile intelligence system that integrates tactile hardware perception, data acquisition, world models, and VTLA model algorithms.

The centerpiece of the exhibition was a demonstration of a dual-arm autonomous carton-forming robot driven by Xense’s VTLA model. The robot performed complex operations such as grasping, folding, and pressing without preset trajectories, relying on real time tactile and visual feedback to adjust its movements. This display illustrated the system’s ability to handle flexible materials and adapt to unstructured environments.

Xense Robotics also introduced the TacCap-Gripper, a tactile data acquisition device designed to capture synchronized motion, vision, and touch data. The device records detailed information such as contact states, force distribution, and material deformation to support model training for robotic manipulation tasks.

The company further exhibited a complete range of multimodal tactile sensors for various robotic applications, including fingertip and surface sensors. Visitors could experience the sensitivity of these sensors through an interactive tactile game that demonstrated their fine pressure recognition and rapid response capabilities.
