X Square Robot Shows Parcel Sorting System for Logistics
X Square Robot said in a press release that its embodied AI system handled parcel induction in a live logistics sorting workflow. During a livestream on X and YouTube, the system processed 1,816 parcels per hour with more than 98% accuracy.
The demonstration used the company's WALL-B AI foundation model and its six axis robot arm. The system identified parcels from irregular piles, picked them up, reoriented them, and placed them onto a conveyor for scanning and automated sorting.
The task shown is usually performed after truck unloading, when parcels arrive in mixed piles before entering a sorting line. X Square Robot said the system operated autonomously during the demonstration.
