BARBRA gives women plain language information about cardiovascular health using technology and data from EmaEQ. Medical experts vetted its responses, and the tool does not provide diagnoses.

Women's Heart Alliance launched BARBRA, an AI support and education tool for women's heart health, on World Heart Day, the organization said in a press release. Developed with EmaEQ, the tool provides plain language information about cardiovascular health.

BARBRA uses EmaEQ's clinical AI layer, women's health data and more than 10 million conversations. Cardiologists in the Women's Heart Alliance network informed and vetted its responses. The tool also includes licensed American College of Cardiology CardioSmart content covering nutrition, physical activity, smoking cessation, weight management and stress.

The tool is available through the Women's Heart Alliance website. BARBRA provides educational information and does not diagnose conditions or replace guidance from a medical professional.
