Willow Launches AI Voice Keyboard on iOS
Willow has released its AI-powered voice keyboard on the iOS App Store, announced in a press release. The app allows users to dictate text anywhere on iPhone, converting speech into well-formatted writing that adapts to the context of the app being used.
The keyboard is designed to be three times more accurate than the built-in dictation feature on iOS. It automatically adjusts tone depending on whether the user is writing a text, email, or message in apps such as Slack. Additional features include automatic formatting, intelligent corrections, and a custom dictionary.
Willow offers a free plan with 2,000 words per week and an unlimited plan priced at $12 per month. The company reports 50% monthly growth since graduating from Y Combinator’s Spring 2025 batch and counts users from companies such as Canva, GitHub, and Uber.
The platform has raised $4.5 million from investors including Box Group, Y Combinator, and Burst Capital, as well as individual backers like Dharmesh Shah and Alexis Ohanian.
