Rime Launches Customizable Prism Voice Model

Oct 29, 2026
Rime launches Prism, a speech to speech model that companies can fine tune and operate on their own infrastructure.

Rime announced Prism in a press release, a speech to speech model that companies can fine tune and run on their own infrastructure. It can operate on premises or in a private cloud, with controls for data, latency, vocabulary, pronunciation and safety rules.

Prism generates text before producing speech. This allows company policies to check responses before customers hear them and creates text records for audits. Companies can also train the model on their calls and terminology.

Rime says a trial with Revmo increased order confirmations and pickup method completions from 68% with an OpenAI model to 100% with Prism. Calls without dead air rose from 66% to 88%. Rime did not disclose the OpenAI model, trial size or testing methodology, AI Insider notes. Dialpad, a design partner for Prism, plans to use it across its agent products.

Rime says its models power more than 100 million monthly interactions for companies including Asurion, Mayo Clinic, Upstart and Dialpad.

Tensordyne Napier: What If One Rack Could Do the Work of Nine?

Tensordyne

This Tensordyne whitepaper presents Napier, an inference-focused AI processor and rack-scale system based on the company’s TDN Math logarithmic number system. It examines infrastructure requirements for large mixture-of-experts and agentic models, compares major inference architecture approaches, and details the TDN AIP processor, TDN72 pod, TDN Link fabric, and Napier Ultra configuration. The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
