Apple Adds AI Assistants and Generate Fill to Creator Studio

Oct 27, 2026
Apple Creator Studio will add AI assistants to Logic Pro and its productivity apps, along with prompt based image editing in Pixelmator Pro. The free subscriber update arrives in November.

Apple announced in a press release that Creator Studio will receive new AI features across Logic Pro, Pixelmator Pro, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers in November. The update will be free for existing subscribers.

Logic Pro for Mac will gain a beta assistant powered by Apple models and OpenAI. It can help users start songs, configure vocal tracks, refine projects, and navigate production workflows. A redesigned sound browser uses on device audio analysis to classify and tag imported sounds, while Stem Splitter adds controls for isolating and adjusting drum parts.

Pixelmator Pro will add Generate Fill, which edits selected image areas from text instructions while matching nearby lighting, perspective, and texture. Keynote, Pages, and Numbers will receive context aware assistants for tasks including slide design, text editing, calculations, charts, and table creation. The three apps will also support Model Context Protocol, allowing external AI tools to read and edit documents or perform automated actions.

Final Cut Pro will integrate MotionVFX effects, templates, transitions, tracking tools, and color controls. Creator Studio costs $12.99 per month or $129 per year for new subscribers, with education pricing of $2.99 per month or $29.99 per year.
