May 07, 2026
West Monroe received the Gold Stevie Award for AI-Driven Culture of Innovation and introduced its internal AI Store, consolidating employee-built AI solutions for easier access across the firm.

West Monroe earned the top honor in the AI Driven Culture of Innovation category at the 2026 American Business Awards, taking home the only Gold Stevie Award in the category, according to a press release. The firm's Chief AI Officer, Bret Greenstein, was also named AI Leader of the Year.

The recognition coincided with the launch of West Monroe's internal AI Store, a platform that consolidates more than 465 employee-built AI solutions including skills, applications, and tools. The AI Store enables employees to share and adopt solutions across departments.

Since Greenstein joined as Chief AI Officer in September 2025, West Monroe has expanded its AI operations, achieving 94 percent adoption of its internal AI platform Nigel and doubling firmwide AI use. The company also introduced OpenAI's Enterprise ChatGPT, Google AI Studio, and Claude Code and Codex to its workforce.

West Monroe reported that live AI demonstrations now occur in a quarter of client conversations, while 74 percent of employees have earned at least one AI credential through its training program. The firm’s Builder Community, which includes more than 250 employees, supports the creation and scaling of new AI tools integrated into its research and development pipeline.
