Vox AI Secures €7.5 Million to Expand Voice AI in Drive-Thrus

Amsterdam-based Vox AI, a startup specializing in conversational voice AI for quick service restaurants (QSRs), has announced the successful raising of €7.5 million in Seed funding. The funding round was led by global venture capital firm Headline, with participation from True, Simon Capital, and returning investor Souschef Ventures.

The newly acquired funds will be used to accelerate Vox AI's global expansion, including the establishment of a new office in San Francisco. The company aims to transform the drive-thru experience by implementing its autonomous, multilingual voice platform, which is designed to operate seamlessly in the fast-paced environments of QSRs.

Vox AI's platform offers a range of features, including 24/7 voice AI ordering in over 90 languages, real-time shift guidance for staff, and integration with existing QSR tech stacks. The company claims that its technology can significantly enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency by reducing drive-thru queues and enabling staff to focus on more meaningful tasks.

Founded in 2023, Vox AI is targeting the global QSR market, which faces challenges such as labor shortages and high turnover. The company's innovative approach aims to make voice the primary interface for QSR operations without requiring hardware upgrades.
