Virtualitics and OpenAI Partner on AI Solutions for Mission Readiness
Virtualitics and OpenAI have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on AI solutions for mission readiness, announced in a press release. The agreement focuses on developing decision intelligence tools for government, logistics, and critical infrastructure applications.
Under the collaboration, Virtualitics will integrate OpenAI's frontier models into its Iris platform, which provides agentic AI for readiness analysis. The integration aims to improve how AI agents process data on personnel, materiel, and sustainment to support large-scale decision-making.
The companies plan to deliver AI capabilities that increase transparency, scalability, and trust for organizations operating in regulated sectors. Virtualitics CEO Michael Amori said the partnership combines the company’s readiness expertise with OpenAI’s advanced reasoning models. OpenAI’s Head of Government Partnerships, Andrew Keene, stated that the effort will enable more reliable AI use in mission-critical environments.
The collaboration will focus on supporting readiness across government and international operations, emphasizing accuracy, security, and responsible deployment of AI systems.
