UCB is consolidating its global pharmacovigilance operations on the Veeva Systems Safety Suite platform to improve efficiency and scale its safety processes, announced in a press release.

The unified system will allow UCB to standardize safety operations on a single platform that supports faster case processing, improved oversight, and streamlined submissions to health authorities. The company will use Veeva Safety for intake, processing, and submission of adverse events, and Veeva SafetyDocs to manage all safety related content.

Veeva Safety Workbench will provide advanced data analysis for scalable reporting, while Veeva Safety Signal will automate signal detection for improved visibility. Additionally, the Veeva Safety-RIM Connection will automatically share product information across regulatory and safety operations to maintain consistent data.

According to Veeva, the partnership provides UCB with a connected foundation for global pharmacovigilance, enhancing compliance and enabling greater automation throughout its safety workflows.
