Tuya Smart Launches AI Coding Platform for Lifestyle Apps

Tuya Smart has launched Tuya AI Coding, a platform for creating AI lifestyle applications from natural language prompts, the company announced in a press release. The platform is available at coding.tuya.ai and supports deployment and sharing to social media platforms.

Users can describe an app idea, feature set, or interface requirement in natural language. Tuya AI Coding then generates the app interface and backend components, including databases, API gateways, user authentication, and device management.

The platform connects generated apps to Tuya cloud infrastructure across more than 200 countries and regions. It also supports access to more than 100,000 hardware SKUs in Tuya's ecosystem, with options for device management, data analytics, and weather information services.

Tuya said the platform is designed for users without technical backgrounds, including designers, product managers, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and students. Features include live preview, conversational edits, templates for specific scenarios, support across PCs, smartphones, and tablets, and cloud deployment from the platform.
