TIER IV and Partners to Hold Autonomous Driving Event for Tokyo Students

TIER IV, Tamiya, Macnica and zero to one will hold an educational event for junior and senior high school students in Tokyo on September 26, 2026, according to a press release. The event will take place at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation.

Students will join an AI robot workshop, use an autonomous driving simulator based on Autoware and its Building Autonomous Driving Systems course, and watch a demonstration of an AI powered radio controlled car.

The sessions will cover how AI is trained, how autonomous systems interpret information and make decisions, and how responsibility could be divided between people and automated systems.
