Tencent Expands TanLIVE Platform with Four Global Climate Data Applications

November 13, 2025
Tencent has introduced four new global applications for its TanLIVE climate innovation platform, including a federated climate technology search engine and partnerships with UN agencies to enhance data transparency and collaboration.

Tencent Holdings Ltd. has unveiled four new global applications for its TanLIVE platform to advance access to verified climate data and collaboration, announced in a press release. The additions include ClimateTech Search (CTS), the UN Solutions Hub (UNSH), the Africa Climate Investment Tracker (ACIT), and TanLIVE Knowledge AI.

CTS is a federated search service connecting verified climate technology databases such as the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Green Technology Bank, Solar Impulse Foundation, and WIPO Green. It uses AI-powered semantic search to deliver relevant results across multiple languages and is freely accessible to users worldwide.

Built in partnership with the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, the UN Global Innovation Hub, and the Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative, UNSH aims to help cities and governments identify climate technologies and accelerate implementation through TanLIVE’s infrastructure.

The ACIT, developed with the Africa Green Industrialization Initiative, provides bilingual data on green projects across Africa and will expand in 2026 to include matchmaking and financing tools. TanLIVE Knowledge AI supports nonprofits by converting their research archives into searchable, AI-driven tools, with over 70 organizations currently using the service.
