Tencent has expanded international access to Tencent Hy3, its AI model formerly known as Tencent Hunyuan, after its official release on July 6, the company said in a press release.

Users and enterprises can access Hy3 through WorkBuddy, where it is free worldwide until August 31, 2026 Pacific Time. The model is also available through Tencent Design Miora and Tencent Cloud TokenHub, and developers can connect to it through APIs for use in coding extensions, developer environments, third party platforms, and other tools.

Hy3 uses a hybrid fast and slow thinking Mixture of Experts architecture with 295 billion total parameters, 21 billion active parameters, and support for context lengths up to 256K. Tencent said Hy3 has recorded more than 68 times as many API calls as its previous generation model and ranked first on OpenRouter's global LLM usage leaderboard within one week of launch.

The model is available on developer platforms including Hermes, Kilo, Cline, OpenClaw, OpenCode, and Cherry Studio. It is also available on Hugging Face and ModelScope under the Apache 2.0 license. Hy3 API access on OpenRouter starts at US$0.1288 per million input tokens and US$0.5336 per million output tokens.
