Telexistence has implemented AI and remote-controlled robots in 300 convenience stores, utilizing Microsoft's Azure platform to optimize data management and operational efficiency. The company initially faced challenges with high operational costs and data processing when using a different cloud service. However, by migrating to Azure, they were able to reduce costs and improve performance.

The robots, known as TX SCARA, are designed to automatically replenish beverages on store shelves and can be remotely operated by staff if needed. This system is part of Telexistence's broader strategy to enhance collaboration between humans and robots in retail environments. The company has also developed a Store Operations Visualization Solution, which uses Azure to analyze in-store data and optimize the timing of robot deployment.

By consolidating their services onto Azure, Telexistence has not only reduced costs but also opened up new possibilities for data integration and utilization. This move allows for real-time data analysis and improved operational insights, supporting the company's mission to expand the use of intelligent robots beyond traditional factory settings.
