Ted Myles Appointed CEO of Cellarity

Ted Myles has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of Cellarity, a life sciences company, and will also serve as CEO-Partner at Flagship Pioneering, according to a press release.

Cellarity, a life sciences company, has announced the appointment of Ted Myles as its new Chief Executive Officer. Myles will also join Flagship Pioneering as a CEO-Partner, announced in a press release.

Myles brings extensive experience in the biopharma industry, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer at Scholar Rock. During his tenure, he led the company through significant growth phases, including a successful Phase 3 study and raising over $1 billion in capital. His past roles also include leadership positions at AMAG Pharmaceuticals, Ocata Therapeutics, and PrimeraDx.

Cellarity is advancing its AI/ML-enabled platform to uncover novel druggable biology for complex diseases. The company's lead program, CLY-124, is a potential first-in-class small molecule for sickle cell disease, expected to enter clinical development in mid-2025. Myles' leadership is anticipated to be pivotal as Cellarity approaches its first clinical study this year.
