Tata Elxsi is investing in KAVIA AI to expand their work on AI software engineering and the modernization of complex enterprise systems.

Tata Elxsi is investing in KAVIA AI to expand their work on enterprise software engineering, the companies said in a press release. The size of the investment was not disclosed. The companies have worked together for the past year on engineering, software releases, quality, resilience and cybersecurity readiness.

KAVIA AI provides a knowledge graph and workflow intelligence platform that supports architecture design, refactoring of existing codebases, software development, quality assurance, deployment, monitoring and debugging. That brownfield focus sets it apart from coding tools aimed mainly at new code. Its platform connects teams through code analysis, workflow automation, artifact generation, reviewable code and validation across software repositories and environments.

Tata Elxsi will contribute its product and software engineering services using AI and generative AI. The companies plan to use the expanded partnership to help enterprises manage and modernize complex software systems.
