Taiwan's AI supply chain made a strong debut at the NVIDIA GTC, a premier global AI event, with the Asia New Bay Area (ANBA) emerging as a global innovation hotspot. Announced in a press release, the ANBA in Kaohsiung is attracting major tech players such as NVIDIA, Cisco, Foxconn, and Pegatron, positioning itself as a cornerstone of Taiwan's industrial innovation strategy.

The ANBA, spanning 1,360 acres, is fueled by over US$3.2 billion in public and private investment. It offers strategic advantages with its access to global trade routes and a robust computing foundation powered by advanced AI supercomputing. This innovation hub has already drawn 175 tech companies, focusing on fields like AI, semiconductors, and green energy.

Key initiatives in the ANBA include Cisco and Genesis's "AIoT Sustainable Innovation R&D Center" and Foxconn's "Kaohsiung Software R&D Center," which are advancing smart cities, manufacturing, and EV technologies. AUO Corporation is also contributing with its smart display and AIoT solutions, while Pegatron is driving digital transformation in the manufacturing sector.

These efforts are transforming Kaohsiung into a global model for smart logistics and supply chain automation, setting new benchmarks for AI-driven smart manufacturing and positioning Taiwan as a key player in the global technology ecosystem.
