October 21, 2025
Status Labs has introduced its Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) service to help brands improve visibility across AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot. The company says GEO uses AI diagnostics, semantic mapping, and credibility signal engineering to influence how large language models present brand information.

Status Labs has launched a new Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) service designed to help brands manage how they appear in AI-driven search results, announced in a press release. The company said the service targets generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Copilot, which are increasingly used for product discovery and information queries.

The GEO offering includes several components: AI-driven language-model diagnostics to analyze how large language models interpret brand content, semantic content mapping to align brand messaging with AI comprehension, and credibility signal engineering to strengthen trust indicators like citation quality and data consistency.

Status Labs stated that the service aims to address how large language models reason across structured data and contextual cues rather than traditional web crawling. The company said its GEO framework is intended to optimize the likelihood that AI systems accurately represent and cite brand information in their responses.

Founded in 2012 and based in Austin, Texas, Status Labs specializes in digital reputation management and SEO services for corporate and individual clients.
