Stand Up To Cancer and SandboxAQ Collaborate on AI-Driven Cancer Research
Stand Up To Cancer and SandboxAQ have announced a collaboration to integrate SandboxAQ's Large Quantitative Models (LQMs) into cancer research projects funded by Stand Up To Cancer. Announced in a press release, this initiative aims to accelerate the development of new treatments by leveraging advanced AI and data modeling tools.
The collaboration will focus on supporting high-impact cancer research, including efforts to detect hard-to-diagnose cancers and optimize treatment responses. By using SandboxAQ's AI technology, the initiative seeks to find early warning signs of disease and create personalized treatment strategies.
Julian Adams, Ph.D., president and CEO of Stand Up To Cancer, emphasized the potential of this partnership to catch cancer earlier and treat it more precisely. Jack Hidary, CEO of SandboxAQ, expressed excitement about using their AI LQM platform to model complex biological systems and accelerate oncology research.
This collaboration aligns with Stand Up To Cancer's goal to decrease cancer mortality significantly over the next decade by making early-stage cancer detection a standard of care. More details about the specific research teams involved will be announced as fundraising milestones are reached.
