STAK Inc. to Form U.S. Subsidiary for Modular Gas Power Systems Serving AI Data Centers

June 09, 2026
STAK Inc. has signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a majority-owned U.S. subsidiary that will develop and commercialize modular gas-to-electricity generation systems for AI data centers and other high-energy applications across North America.

STAK Inc. announced in a press release that it has entered into a memorandum of understanding to create a majority-owned subsidiary in the United States. The new entity will focus on developing and commercializing modular gas-to-electricity generation systems designed to meet the rising power demands of AI data centers and other energy-intensive operations across North America.

The subsidiary will be incorporated in Delaware and operate through a wholly owned entity in Texas. STAK will hold a 60 percent equity interest and will consolidate the subsidiary's financial results. The company will oversee all sales, branding, and capital markets activities.

The planned flagship product is a modular gas-powered generation system capable of producing up to 1.4 megawatts of electricity per unit within a standard ISO container footprint. The system supports multiple gaseous fuels, including natural gas and associated gas, and can be scaled for installations ranging from individual facilities to large AI data center campuses.

STAK intends to pursue required U.S. Environmental Protection Agency certifications and state-level environmental permits before commercial deployment. Subject to regulatory approval, the subsidiary expects to begin operations in the near term.
