Mindstream Energy to Build 400 MW AI Infrastructure Campus in Jordan

July 10, 2026
Mindstream Energy announced the creation of Mindstream Jordan LLC to develop a 400 MW sovereign AI and digital infrastructure platform in Al-Risha, Jordan, designed to support artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and data sovereignty in the region.

Mindstream Energy announced in a press release the launch of Mindstream Jordan LLC, a scalable AI and digital infrastructure platform targeting up to 400 megawatts of capacity. The project will be based on a 245-acre campus in Al-Risha, Jordan, and aims to serve regional demand for artificial intelligence, high performance computing, and sovereign cloud services across the Middle East and North Africa.

The development integrates natural gas resources, on-site power generation, and modular data centers with phased expansion plans. It will provide compute and cloud services for sectors including government, energy, research, healthcare, and defense. Designed for rapid deployment, the system allows compute infrastructure to go from order to operational status in three to four months.

Each compute zone within the campus will operate independently with isolated power, fiber connectivity, and secure access, offering sovereign-grade data separation for customers with strict data control needs. The facility will use recirculating cooling systems that do not rely on external water sources, addressing local sustainability concerns.

At full capacity, Mindstream Energy expects the Al-Risha campus to be one of the largest modular AI infrastructure sites in the Middle East, supporting workloads such as AI model training, high performance computing, cloud operations, and cybersecurity systems.
