Sonilo and Fal Launch Sound Effects 1.0 for Video and Text Audio Generation

Sonilo and Fal.ai have introduced Sound Effects 1.0, a new generative audio model that produces realistic sound effects from either video or text input, announced in a press release.

The model analyzes video footage to identify on-screen actions, timing, and environments, generating a complete synchronized sound track in response. It can also generate specific audio clips directly from textual descriptions. Developers can use Fal's API to integrate the technology into their video, game, advertising, and multimedia production workflows.

Sound Effects 1.0 offers two modes of generation. The video input option automatically produces a synchronized audio track aligned to the footage, while the text input option allows creators to specify particular sounds. Users can combine both workflows to balance automation and creative control.

Fal will serve as the exclusive API launch partner, providing access through its generative media infrastructure. The launch expands an existing collaboration between the companies that already includes Sonilo Music v1.1, allowing developers to integrate both music and sound effects generation within the same video production pipeline.
