Sollum Technologies and Optimal Partner for AI-Driven Greenhouse Control
Sollum Technologies has announced a strategic partnership with Optimal to advance AI-driven greenhouse control, announced in a press release. This collaboration combines Sollum's dynamic LED lighting with Optimal's AI climate and irrigation control platform, allowing growers to implement precise growing strategies under varying weather conditions.
The integration enables Optimal's AI to anticipate the impact of light and balance it with climate and irrigation in real time, providing a fully automated system for growers. This system updates settings in the grower's existing control computer, optimizing production 24/7 across lighting, climate, and irrigation.
Dave Hunter, CEO of Optimal, highlighted that the partnership allows growers to spend minimal time on climate and irrigation control while achieving higher yield and energy efficiency. François R.-Moisan, CTO of Sollum Technologies, noted that the collaboration enhances the adaptability of their dynamic lighting solution, making it more responsive to crop needs.
