Solera Health Introduces AI Governance Framework for Digital Health
Solera Health has launched its Enhanced AI Governance Framework, a system designed to ensure responsible and transparent use of artificial intelligence in digital health, announced in a press release. This framework aims to set a new industry standard by addressing client concerns, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation.
The framework is built on three core pillars: Governance and Oversight, Privacy and Protection, and Security and Training. Governance and Oversight involve a cross-functional AI governance committee that enforces human-in-the-loop oversight and conducts quarterly compliance reviews. Privacy and Protection focus on strict HIPAA-compliant access controls and authentication protocols. Security and Training emphasize a security-first approach, including adversarial defenses and ongoing risk assessments.
Solera Health expects full implementation of the framework across its partner network by the end of Q3 2025. The initiative is part of Solera's commitment to ensuring that AI involved in healthcare decisions is safe, explainable, and human-validated.
