Skanska Signs $84 Million Georgia Data Center Contract

Skanska signed an $84 million contract to build a 48 MW data center in Georgia, with construction scheduled from November 2026 to the third quarter of 2028.

Skanska said in a press release it signed an $84 million contract with an existing client to build a data center in Georgia. The contract will be included in its US order bookings for the third quarter of 2026.

The data center will span approximately 22,700 square meters and include five colocation data halls, administrative space, and 48 MW of capacity. Skanska will handle civil, structural, utility, electrical, mechanical, security, interior, fit out, and commissioning work.

Construction will begin in November 2026 and is expected to finish in the third quarter of 2028.
