Simile raised a $200 million Series B led by Greenoaks Capital at a $2 billion valuation to expand its human behavior simulation platform.

Simile raised a $200 million Series B at a $2 billion valuation. The round was led by Greenoaks Capital, with participation from Index Ventures, Hanabi Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, A*, Factory, CVS Health Ventures, and new investor Definition.

The company said the funding will support development of its foundation model for human behavior and help scale its simulation platform. The round follows a $100 million Series A led by Index Ventures five months ago, when Simile emerged from stealth.

Organizations including CVS Health and Wealthfront are using Simile to simulate human behavior and test decisions before using them in live settings. CVS Health has used the platform for customer research validation, patient satisfaction analysis, medication adherence planning, competitive benchmarking, and modeling patient groups that are hard to reach.

Simile is also working with Gallup on AI powered simulations for policy research, trend analysis, workplace studies, and social research. The company was founded by CEO Joon Sung Park.
