Siegel Family Endowment has announced $15.6 million in grants to support organizations advancing education, workplace technology, and community innovation, aiming to help people shape technology's impact on society.

Siegel Family Endowment has awarded $15.6 million in grants to organizations working on education reform, AI-driven workplace development, and community innovation, announced in a press release.

The funding supports initiatives that aim to redefine how people learn and work in a technology-driven world. Recipients include the AFL-CIO Technology Institute, Alder Graduate School of Education, Center for an Urban Future, Creative Commons, and Code.org, among others. The grants target projects focused on learner-centered education, responsible AI integration in workplaces, and community-led technology infrastructure.

In the education sector, organizations such as Transcend and the Modern Classrooms Project are collaborating with schools to expand learner-centered models. Realign Education is working with colleges to align admissions standards with these models, while ongoing collaboration with the Carnegie Foundation aims to create new educational structures for modern learning.

In workforce development, partners including JUST Capital, the AFL-CIO Tech Institute, and Upwardly Global are engaging workers and employers to shape the use of AI in the workplace. Additional grantees like New_Public and the Public Interest Technology University Network are building civic and digital infrastructures that promote technology serving public and community interests.
