Schneider Electric and Digital Realty have entered a $373 million Supply Capacity Agreement covering UPS systems, switchgear, and prefabricated skids to meet rising data center demand.

Schneider Electric and Digital Realty have signed a $373 million Supply Capacity Agreement (SCA) for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems, Low Voltage Switchgear (LVS), and prefabricated skids, announced in a press release. The agreement was revealed at Schneider Electric’s Innovation Summit North America in Las Vegas.

The SCA establishes guaranteed supply capacity and a dedicated LVS production line, aiming to enhance supply chain resilience and scalability for Digital Realty’s expanding data center operations. The model also allows for flexibility in a multi-vendor environment to mitigate potential risks.

The partnership extends Schneider Electric’s support for Digital Realty beyond power systems into prefabrication and switchgear, reflecting efforts to address increasing infrastructure demand driven by AI workloads and industrial expansion. Schneider Electric stated that the collaboration will help add capacity closer to where it is needed while strengthening the reliability of its supply chain.
