OpenGov Adds AI Procurement Tools as Orange County Expands Use

OpenGov announced new Contract and Vendor Management capabilities for its procurement platform at NIGP Forum 2026. Orange County is using OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management across 22 departments and is part of the company private preview program.
OpenGov announced new Contract and Vendor Management capabilities for its procurement platform at NIGP Forum 2026, stated in a press release.
The new tools cover sourcing, bidding, contract negotiation, vendor management, invoicing, and payment. Vendors can use one system to find opportunities, submit bids, work on contracts, maintain business and compliance information, submit invoices, and track activity.
The County of Orange has moved procurement work across 22 departments and 19,000 employees to OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management. The county has brought more than 2,400 active contracts into one system and replaced shared drives, spreadsheets, and email approval chains.
Orange County is also part of OpenGov's private preview program for the new procurement features. Select OpenGov Procurement & Contract Management customers can access the new capabilities beginning in September.
