Nvidia plans to raise prices for servers containing its AI chips by more than 15% in many cases for some large customers, with changes expected on systems shipped early next year.

NVIDIA plans to raise prices for servers containing its AI chips by more than 15% in many cases for some large customers, CNBC reported, citing Bloomberg.

The increases are expected to apply to systems shipped early next year. Systems using Vera Rubin and Grace Blackwell chips are among those expected to be affected, with final increases depending on chip generation and memory configuration.

The reported price increases follow higher memory chip costs, which affect GPUs and server systems. Contract server builders for large data center operators such as Microsoft, Google, and Oracle have informed customers about the planned changes.

NVIDIA is scheduled to report second quarter results on August 26.
