Salesforce Expands Agentforce 360 with OpenAI and Anthropic Integrations
Salesforce has expanded its collaborations with OpenAI and Anthropic to integrate their AI models into its Agentforce 360 platform, announced in a press release on October 14, 2025. The move brings OpenAI’s latest GPT-5 and Anthropic’s Claude models directly into Salesforce’s ecosystem, allowing enterprise users to interact with data and analytics through ChatGPT, Slack, and Salesforce’s own applications.
Through the expanded OpenAI partnership, companies can now access Agentforce 360 within ChatGPT to query sales data, build Tableau visualizations, and create AI agents using OpenAI’s models. A new Agentforce Commerce feature will also enable merchants to sell products via ChatGPT’s Instant Checkout while maintaining control over customer data and order fulfillment.
The collaboration with Anthropic extends the use of Claude models to regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, and cybersecurity. Anthropic’s Claude is now integrated within Salesforce’s trust boundary, ensuring data remains secure while enabling advanced AI-driven workflows. Companies like CrowdStrike and RBC Wealth Management are already using Claude through Agentforce to enhance customer experiences and automate tasks.
Additionally, Salesforce is deploying Anthropic’s Claude Code across its engineering teams to support software development and documentation within Slack. The integration connects Claude’s AI capabilities with Slack’s Model Context Protocol, allowing users to summarize discussions, draft updates, and access connected enterprise data without leaving their workflow.
