Rocket.new, an Indian startup specializing in AI-driven app development, has raised $15 million in a seed funding round led by Salesforce Ventures and Accel. The funding aims to enhance its platform, which allows users to create full, production-ready applications from natural-language prompts, announced on their website.

Since its beta launch in June, Rocket.new has attracted over 400,000 users across 180 countries, including more than 10,000 paid subscribers. The startup, based in Surat, India, plans to scale its annual recurring revenue from $4.5 million to $20-$25 million by the end of the year and $60-$70 million by June next year.

Rocket.new's platform combines large language models from Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google's Gemini with its proprietary deep learning systems. The company aims to provide a comprehensive solution for app and website development, competitive research, and product development, eliminating the need for product managers.

With the new funding, Rocket.new plans to expand its team, deepen its market presence, and accelerate research and development efforts. The startup is also establishing a U.S. headquarters in Palo Alto to better serve its American users, who currently contribute 26% of its revenue.
