Robo.ai Breaks Ground on UAE Industrial Park

Robo.ai held a groundbreaking ceremony for the first phase of the ALIF Holding Group Industrial Park in Umm Al Quwain, UAE, the company said in a press release. The initial phase will refurbish about 8,845 square meters of existing factory space for local integration and manufacturing.

The company plans to develop the park in three phases. The second phase will add factory facilities, while the third will reserve space for future expansion. Site transfer and registration of the relevant majority owned subsidiary require approval from local authorities.

Alif Maritec, a proposed majority owned subsidiary focused on maritime security and infrastructure, is expected to be the first project at the site. Its proposed work includes marine oil spill response, land border security, AI enabled defense and monitoring. ALIF Holding plans to have at least three project companies operating in the park by the end of 2026, subject to approvals, funding, facility availability and operational readiness.
