Resin8 Uses AI to Complete Industrial Gas Compressor Deal
Resin8 has completed a major industrial oil and gas transaction using its AI procurement platform, announced in a press release. The company used AI agents to source and close the sale of an industrial gas compressor for a hydrogen company based in Canada.
The transaction began with the buyer submitting technical engineering specifications. Resin8's AI model matched and sourced the compressor from a vetted seller within its network, coordinating custom fabrication and modifications to ensure a technical fit. The company said the deal demonstrates its platform's ability to handle complex industrial transactions.
Resin8 operates an AI powered marketplace that connects buyers and sellers of industrial equipment. The platform uses multimodal asset digitization to list and describe equipment, allowing buyers to access detailed data on previously unlisted assets. The company reports nearly 26,000 listings and about 300 million dollars in inventory value across the United States, Canada, and international markets.
Founded in Calgary and now based in Texas, Resin8 plans to expand its capabilities to include cross border payment systems, AI assisted compliance workflows, automated logistics, and embedded financing and insurance. The company has received backing from Flathead Forge and Motiv, which together have over 80 years of experience in industrial and technology sectors.
