Replit Raises $400 Million, Valued at $9 Billion, Launches Agent 4

Replit has raised $400 million at a $9 billion valuation, announced in a company blog post. The Series D round was led by investors including Georgian, G Squared, Prysm Capital, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, Craft Ventures, Y Combinator, Accenture Ventures, Okta Ventures, Databricks Ventures, and Qatar Investment Authority.

The funding will support product development, infrastructure expansion, and global growth, particularly in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Replit said it now serves users from 85% of Fortune 500 companies and expects to reach $1 billion in run-rate revenue by the end of 2026.

Alongside the funding, the company introduced Agent 4, its newest AI agent. Agent 4 is described as ten times faster than its predecessor and designed to streamline creative workflows. It enables users to design freely, produce apps and tools within a unified project, collaborate through structured task management, and accelerate development with multiple agents working in parallel.

Replit’s platform is used by over 50 million users ranging from students to enterprises. Companies such as Atlassian, PayPal, Adobe, and Zillow use Replit for rapid prototyping and internal tool development. The company also partners with major firms including Google, Microsoft, Slack, Stripe, and Databricks to integrate its tools into enterprise workflows.

With this investment, Replit aims to expand its AI-powered development capabilities, while Georgian and other investors back its goal of broadening access to software creation across industries.
