Remedy Robotics Partners with Mission Thrombectomy to Expand Global Stroke Treatment Access
In a press release, Remedy Robotics announced a strategic partnership with Mission Thrombectomy to broaden access to endovascular thrombectomy for stroke patients in the U.S. and worldwide. The collaboration designates Remedy as Mission Thrombectomy’s exclusive robotics partner, focusing on deploying Remedy’s telerobotic N1 System to expand treatment availability.
Through this partnership, Remedy will work with Mission Thrombectomy’s clinician network, which spans more than 100 countries, to test and integrate the N1 System into stroke-care workflows. The organizations aim to accelerate the rollout of the technology, particularly in underserved regions where access to thrombectomy is limited.
Endovascular thrombectomy is a critical procedure for treating severe ischemic strokes but remains unavailable to most of the global population. Data from Mission Thrombectomy indicates that fewer than 3% of people worldwide have timely access to the treatment. The partnership seeks to address this gap by enabling remote operation of thrombectomy procedures using Remedy’s robotic system.
Remedy Robotics and Mission Thrombectomy plan to host a joint webinar on October 29, 2025, to discuss how telerobotic technology can improve access to stroke interventions.
