ROMTech received the 2026 Newsweek AI Impact Health Award for remote patient monitoring. Its system analyzes home rehabilitation data to flag changes that may require clinical attention.

ROMTech received the 2026 Newsweek AI Impact Health Award in the Remote Patient Monitoring category, the company said in a press release. Newsweek announced the winners on September 24.

The award recognizes ROMTech's Predictive Recovery approach, which builds on its PortableConnect rehabilitation platform. Patients complete clinician directed therapy at home while care teams monitor their progress remotely. The system analyzes therapy data to identify changes that may require additional clinical attention.

ROMTech said more than 200,000 patients across the United States have received treatment using its technology. The company uses data from those rehabilitation sessions to develop its AI analysis and prediction capabilities.

The paper reports simulation-based performance, cost, and accuracy-validation results, including Tensordyne’s projected comparison of one Napier rack with a nine-rack Nvidia Rubin plus Groq deployment; the chip is reported as taped out and in fabrication.
