Relativity announced claiR, a conversational AI interface for lawyers that answers plain language questions across a RelativityOne matter with citations to the underlying record, LawNext reports.

The company said claiR builds on aiR Assist but expands from indexed document sets to the full matter record, including metadata and connections among documents. The system runs on data already stored in RelativityOne, so customers do not need to move matter data into a separate AI environment.

Relativity is launching claiR through its Advanced Access program with A&O Shearman, Foley & Lardner LLP, and K&L Gates as initial testers. General availability is expected in early 2027.

Relativity expects to include claiR in RelativityOne pricing at no additional cost once it is generally available. The company said it will share more details at RelFest Chicago from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1.
