Quadric Appoints Ravi Chakaravarthy as Vice President of Software Engineering

Quadric has appointed Ravi Chakaravarthy as Vice President of Software Engineering to lead development of its embedded AI software stack for the Chimera processor IP. Chakaravarthy previously led AI software development at AMD and has extensive experience in machine learning technologies.

Quadric has appointed Ravi Chakaravarthy as Vice President of Software Engineering, effective immediately, announced in a press release. He will lead the company’s software engineering organization and oversee development of its embedded AI software stack that powers the Quadric Chimera processor IP.

Before joining Quadric, Chakaravarthy led software development for Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD), where he managed AI software for both datacenter and edge applications. His background includes deep experience in AI and machine learning technologies for training and inference, as well as leadership of more than 60 open-source software projects.

Chakaravarthy previously held engineering leadership roles at Broadcom and Hewlett-Packard. At Quadric, he will focus on advancing the Chimera graph compiler and expanding the company’s AI software stack to improve how customers deploy models on Chimera-powered chips.
