Protege has launched Maia, an AI Account Director that autonomously manages marketing execution across existing communication channels like email, WhatsApp, Slack, and video meetings. The platform uses proprietary Brand DNA technology to maintain brand consistency while automating campaign strategy and production.

Singapore-based Protege has launched Maia, described as the world's first AI Account Director designed to operate within marketers' existing communication tools such as email, WhatsApp, Slack, and video meetings, announced in a press release.

The platform enables marketing teams to execute campaigns autonomously at scale. At its core is Protege's proprietary Brand DNA technology, which encodes brand strategy, voice, and governance guidelines to maintain consistency across all assets. Maia collaborates on briefs, formulates strategy using live market intelligence, produces localized campaign materials, and executes across various platforms while learning from performance data.

Built by industry veterans, Protege integrates with about 200 tools across 30 categories to manage the entire marketing process as one system. The company stated that Maia can generate marketing assets in minutes, a process that traditionally takes weeks, while preserving strategic and brand alignment.

Protege has already onboarded more than 1,000 brands since its beta phase, raised 1 million US dollars in funding, and received recognition as Best Newcomer at the Global Startup Awards along with a top-five ranking on Product Hunt.
